'units' URL parameter for payment links

I want to be able to add a 'units' parameter to payment links shared from a product (e.g., ?units=5). Currently, I can do this via the API for dynamic checkouts, but it would be excellent to have this functionality for standard payment links as well so I can pre-set the quantity for customers.
