Fix white flash/skeleton screens when loading dark mode checkout

I noticed that when checkout branding has dark mode set, loading the checkout page first flashes with a white background and light-colored skeleton screens ("bones") before switching to the dark background. This is very jarring for users and should be improved so the dark theme is applied immediately during the loading state.
