Feature request — KRW display on checkout page for Korea-based merchants

Hi Creem team,

First, thanks for the product — the MoR model and the webhook flow have been working great for us.

I'd like to request a feature: the ability to display Korean Won (KRW) alongside USD on the Creem-hosted checkout page.

Context My service (sapsalfortune.com) sells digital reports to Korean customers. Creem charges in USD, which is fine — Korean cards handle the FX automatically. However, on the checkout page customers only see the USD amount (e.g. $5.50), and this is causing measurable drop-off:

  • Korean buyers are strongly conditioned to confirm the won amount before paying. Seeing only USD reads as "foreign / unfamiliar / possibly expensive."

  • We've worked around this by showing ≈ ₩7,700 on our own pricing page, but the moment users land on the Creem checkout that anchor disappears, and several abandon at that step.

  • For comparison, when we added KakaoPay as a parallel option (which shows the exact won amount), conversion on that path is noticeably higher even though the underlying price is the same.

What I'm asking for Ideally one of the following, in order of preference:

  1. Auto-display local currency estimate: show $5.50 (≈ ₩7,700) on the checkout page, using a reasonable FX rate. Settlement can remain in USD.

  2. Merchant-controlled display string: let me pass a display_currency or display_price_local parameter when creating the checkout session, so I can pre-compute the won amount and Creem just renders it.

  3. Full multi-currency presentment (longer term): let merchants price natively in KRW even if settlement is USD.

Option 1 or 2 alone would be a huge win — anything that lets a Korean buyer see "약 ₩7,700" before clicking Pay.

Happy to share conversion data from our checkout funnel if that would help prioritize this. Thanks for considering!

Best,
