Automatic First-Period Discount (Non-Code Based)

I want to be able to configure a product to offer a discount (e.g., 20% off) on the initial subscription period only, and then charge the original price for all recurring renewals. This needs to be implemented automatically without using a discount code, because discount codes are shareable, which allows users who are not entitled to the discount to receive it.
