Affiliate Hub: configurable commission type and duration (one-time / recurring / X months / lifetime)

Summary

The native Affiliate Hub setup wizard (Growth → Affiliate Hub → Create Program) currently only exposes two commission fields in step 2:

• Affiliate Program Slug

• Commission Amount (%)

This applies a single flat percentage to every transaction the affiliate brings in, with no way to configure:

• One-time (first purchase only) vs recurring

• Lifetime vs limited duration (e.g., X months)

• Fixed amount vs percentage

• Different rates per plan (monthly vs yearly)

• Per-affiliate overrides

Why this matters

Without these controls, merchants can't write accurate terms for their affiliate program or communicate clear expectations to partners. Today the behavior appears to be lifetime/recurring in practice, but it's neither documented nor configurable, which makes it hard to onboard partners professionally.

Prior art

The capability already exists at the integration level — Creem's own documented integration with Affonso (docs.creem.io/integrations/affiliates) supports all of the above:

• Percentage or fixed amount

• One-time or recurring

• Lifetime or capped at X months

• Per-plan and per-affiliate rates

It would be great to expose equivalent controls directly in the native Affiliate Hub so merchants don't have to choose between simplicity (native Hub) and configurability (Affonso integration).
